Ellianna all dressed up for her first day at church! I was so excited to find a dress that fit her!

Ellianna's 2 week check -up went wonderfully, she weighed 5lb. 15 oz. almost 19in. long. She was in perfect health and growing wonderfully. So far she is just a little bundle of joy! Alexander loves to give her kisses, and tries to share toys with her, and seems to adore his little sister. Everybody is tired but doing well :)

Besides Helping mommy with the baby and cooking, Alexander has been a big help around the house: dusting, washing, and his favorite vacuuming!

Ellianna is having a lot more awake time now, and we were finally able to get a few pictures with her eyes open!

I thought it was ironic she was covering her ears while Alexander and I were dancing and singing along with Alvin and the Chipmunks!

Baby Girl Dawson

We are happy to announce the arrival of our second little angel!!!

Ellianna Michelle Dawson

Born: Wed. December 29th 2010 @ 5:07p.m

@ Arrowhead Hospital in Glendale, AZ.

Weight: 5lb 11oz

Height: 17 3/4 in

Alexander has been extremley sweet to his new sister, and very very helpful! When he's not helping mommy he's playing with his blocks and trains!

All of the sudden Alexander seems like such a big boy!

Ellianna has lots of dark hair on the back of her head, and just a little bit in the front.

She has a very red, darker complexion like her daddy!

Our little sunshine! So far she is just a quiet, mellow, sweet little bundle of joy!

Happy Holidays!!

We want to wish everybody a belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! This holiday season has been a little crazy around our house. During Thanksgiving break we were able to go to Colorado and visit my family; while there we toured the mint, went to the Midnight showing of Harry Potter and got to spend lots of wonderful time with family!

When we got home Adam participated in a small triathalon on Thanksgiving!

December was spent getting ready for our baby girl to arrive and of course getting ready for Christmas! Alexander's Uncle Bradley received his mission call to Brazil :) Uncle Brandon graduated from ASU, Uncle Daniel Hunter graduated from Thunderbird International Business School. Christmas was wonderful; it was our first Christmas alone with our little family :) Alexander was very excited about all the presents, and wanted us to open them with him, in turn he wanted to help us open ours as well! At the end of the Christmas break we thought things were going to calm down, but were wrong when our precious little angel decided to come 4 weeks early and help us ring in the New Year!
